Whether you are a real estate buyer, investor, or seller, I serve you with an intention-driven practice that starts first and foremost with your goals. Buying, selling, and investing in real estate are significant events. I specialize in lending you my experience to help make your journey seamless and profitable.

My background includes serving in the Air Force Reserves, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Oregon, providing support on a crisis hotline, corporate business management, establishing Wine Country Properties as Principal Broker, and owning a real estate portfolio that includes a variety of income earning investment properties. This experience has given me a highly driven work ethic, effective financial and business strategy, successful negotiation skills, and perhaps most importantly, a unique understanding of people and the ability to connect and communicate.

Twenty years ago, I started rehabbing and managing rentals with a combination of private money, seller financing, and conventional funds. When the 2008 recession appeared on the horizon, I became a short-sale real estate broker and transacted hundreds of short sales for homeowners and investors. This work transcended into building a portfolio of multi-family, vacation, and extended stay rentals.

There are three sides to real estate: 1) the sticks, bricks, and straight numbers, 2) the entrepreneurship within real estate, and 3) the human elements of satisfaction and prosperity. I understand all sides, and more often than not, they merge beautifully.

When I’m not enjoying what I do professionally, I love spending time with friends, family, and my “other half,” Larry. We are learning how to be hobby farmers and just adopted a rambunctious labrador retriever named Dudley.

As a creative, strategically minded investor I’m always looking for the hidden opportunities within properties. I love the process of evaluating and looking at the possibilities within a real estate portfolio to find the best ways for an investor to reach their investment goals. I enjoy running the numbers and letting those numbers, together with the individual goals of each owner, reveal the best strategy and next steps to take. Strategic investing – not just buying anything – is the name of the game.

My personal investment journey began very small, with individual manufactured homes, and grew from there. I’ve been involved in flips, high-end remodels, single family rentals, small development as well as the multi-family space both as an investor and broker. The approach I take with owners is the same I use for my own investments – starting with the end in mind, and working out the best way to use current assets and resources to help reach that end goal.

When I’m not looking at or evaluating real estate or with clients, you’ll usually find me hanging out with my amazing family – my wife of over 15 years and our 3 wonderful children. We enjoy camping, traveling, games and working on our own personal property. Our kids keep us plenty busy by being involved in soccer, dance, Scouting and more.
